It was a long day, with a 2:30 pm call for Dancing in the Third Act dress, a break, and places call sometime after 8:30 pm. Before we did the dress rehearsal, we got to watch Jordana and Jesse's dress for an Army of Barbie and A Mark. For Barbie, the stage was covered with an army of beautiful vintage dresses that they zipped in/out of, while dancing! Also featured were enormous boobs, white disco boots, blonde wigs, and super-sized lipsticks. A Mark was more about dance than story, the two women fluidly partnering each other. Every time they touched their hands left a black print on their white tank tops and skin. Bring on the Tide!
While we waited for our call at the old Post Office, some of us texted (Wayne), some of us played cards (John and Adrian), some of us put on make-up (Pamela and Melissa), some of us read (George), and some of us snoozed (Nat).
We trooped across to the STAGE DOOR and after a couple of tweaks from Randy, we even had time for a group back rub!
