The Angels have their wings... and dancing shoes too!

august 11

Today we reached our goal of $9000 on Kickstarter!  Thanks to all of you who Facebooked and Twittered and emailed friends, family, and perfect strangers.  Special thanks to Angel Wayne Boucher for donating his elegant painting, The Angels' Dressing Room, as a reward to anyone donating $3500 or more.  Someone did, and that boost started a roll that will continue until the campaign ends on September 5.     Here is the Kickstarter link: Give the Angels Wings

Happiness is Sally, Susan, & $9000!!!
And speaking of crowd-funding, our hosts in Montreal, Quartiers Danses, are running a campaign to introduce people to dance in la belle province.  They are looking to  build on their workshop program with seniors, young people, and community groups. Visit Quartiers Danses

In the meantime, we still have to practice, practice, practice.  Which we did, did, did!  DITTA is looking better each time we do it.  Who says you can't teach an old dog old tricks?  Melissa and George weren't there so Pam and Randy stepped in, although there was a little gender confusion as to who was playing Melissa...

Then Pam and Randy reverted to teenage-dom to do the Run, Lola, Run piece.  And run they did!
Pam is figuring out costumes for Teen Angel; fall colors for seniors, bright shirts for the teens??? She brought in a big basket of things for us to put on and take off.
What d'ya think, Sally?

It's me!
